My name is Christy Roberts, and I am entering my 23rd year of teaching. I taught high school language arts at Homewood High in Birmingham before moving back to Mobile. I previously taught at another middle school in MCPSS before becoming a part of the Clark-Shaw Eagle family in 2016. 

I attended Samford University for my bachelor's, the University of Alabama at Birmingham for my master's, and I graduated from the University of Missouri with my educational specialist degree. 

My dream job as a child was to be a teacher, and I love teaching now as much as I did when I started! It is my desire to teach students to become lifelong learners and avid readers, expand their critical thinking skills, and develop collaboration skills. I am also one of the sponsors of the National Junior Honor Society at Clark-Shaw. 

In my spare time, I enjoy reading, photography, cooking, and spending time with my nephews.
