Spring Hill College- B.S. in Psychology and M.A.T. in Secondary Education- Social Science
I graduated from Mary G. Montgomery High School before attending Spring Hill College. I obtained a bachelor's degree in psychology and worked in a psychologist's office before deciding to return to Spring Hill College to get a master's degree in teaching secondary social sciences. I have been an educator with MCPSS for eight years. I previously taught 6th grade at Burns Middle School, and this is my fourth year at Clark-Shaw. I love helping students connect the stories of the past to their lives today, as well as encouraging them to be critical citizens and lifelong learners. In addition to teaching, I advise the yearbook staff, create the monthly school newsletter, and am also a sponsor of the National Junior Honor Society.
